I'm usually uninterested in trying to sell pieces and hold gallery showings. It seems somewhat pointless in Tallahassee, where people are typically either uninterested or don't have jobs, much less money to buy a picture. I prefer being a hoarder. However, I love selling pieces to people who see my art, like it, and insist on buying it. It shows that they actually appreciate something that I put a considerable amount of work into, which is flattering. So, I sold this picture, as well as one other. This particular piece is called "peer pressure," and it has given me a little bit of paper to put into my new camera savings account.
